Goodreads

Early in 2011 I started a book club on Goodreads, 21st Century Book Club, and that had a lot to do with my deciding to do this blog. I've found myself really getting into the current wave of popular fiction, and am really enjoying reviewing the books on there. Our group has jumped to over 100 members our discussion is getting better every time. That being said, we're always looking for more people to review with us.

On this blog I will be posting full reviews of each book we read on the last day of reading it. We just wrapped up Haruki Murakami's Kafka on the Shore and are now on to Susanna Clarke's Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell. I intend to catch up on our previous reads on the blog too, so look out for that.

Also, you can add me as a friend on Goodreads, but be aware that I tend to reject friend requests from people who have tons of friends but don't actually read any books. Your friend # and books # should be at least equal, hopefully with more books than friends. Does it make me elitist? Maybe a little, but I just don't get why people who don't read much are even members of the site to begin with.
